Insert the opening instrument (866-4016) into the cracks and turn it to 90o. SpinTek Opening – eliminates the possibility of dropping the bracket.



The toe or the other side of the instrument, which is also Cool Tool, is inserted into the slot.

Damon Q’s auxiliary slots can incorporate sectional wires to quickly align teeth — such as blocked-out laterals — while maintaining the patient’s natural wire sequence. These novel features can reduce the number of appointments and shorten overall treatment time.

Active self-ligation brackets exert up to 1.34 kg of unidirectional force during slide opening. But Damon Q’s SpinTek slide disperses forces in opposite directions for a net force of 0 kg — even despite calculus buildup.

To open, insert the SpinTek slide instrument into the slide release cavity and twist 90º. To close, position the instrument on either side of the slot and squeeze the opposing prong.
